Eclipse Maps

The BEST map for viewing the details of the path of totality is the EclipseWise Google Interactive Map. You can zoom in to very detailed views of the map to pinpoint the timing and duration of totality at any location within the path. Very useful in planning your eclipse expedition.

The EclipseWise Google Interactive Map was created by retired NASA scientist Fred Espenak, eclipse author, photographer, and—most importantly—the esteemed mathematical master of eclipse calculations.

In addition, The Great American Eclipse website offers a variety of printed maps that will guide you in your site selection, and these maps (and posters) make great souvenirs and keepsakes for this awesome event.
